From a tiny, relatively unknown appellation in the foothills of the French Alps, winemaker Vincent Balivet casts a unique regional stamp on gamay and poulsard - two varieties receiving some well-deserved attention as of late. It's made in an off-dry style, flaunting pronounced flavours of sweet cranberry and rose, with just enough acidity to brighten up the finish. It's low alcohol and vibrant strawberry red colour make for a refreshing aperitif. Good Food.
