This small, family-owned estate was established in 2000. Its vines are an average of 40 years old, planted on a northwest-facing slope on clay-limestone soils. Fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts then macerated for 45 days, the wine is aged in concreteand demi-muid for 14 months then bottled without fining or filtration. Vibrant red fruits are flecked with dried herbs on a full-bodied, silky and generous palate. Very fine tannins and a fine thread of acidity make for subtle but precise structure. Shimering ruby. Lively red fruit and foral scents, along with hints of garrigue and white pepper. Smooth and appealing sweet, offering pliant raspberry and cherry flavours and a touch of succulent herbs. Supple, even tannins frame a long, sappy finish that strongly exchoes the red fruit note.
