"Chardonnay grown up at 800 to 1000m asl.
Exotically fruity, almonds and slight rocky kind of smell – not sure which kind of rocks, as they aren’t generally that smelly – but rocks it is. Little evidence of oak, fruit driven here and nice and pure with it, gentle glossy feel with a cool thread of minerally acidity. Finish is good too, touch of ash and green herb in with fruits. It’s fresh, forward and good to drink." 91pts GARY WALSH, www.winefront.com.au
