This wine is made from red grape varieties grown on moraine hills in the Valpolicella Classico zone. It is produced using a traditional Veronese technique: raisin-drying of the grapes. This is a light dehydration where the grapes are placed in plastic crates for about one month and lose about 8-10% of their weight, which naturally enriches the sugar content of the grapes, their dry extract and the colour of the wine.
