The result of a co-operative of local grape growers who banded together to produce a number of excellent cuvee's from their various vineyard holdings.
A favourite at Banks Fine Wine ever since the first vintage was imported a number of years ago. Catchy label that is pretty sure to polarise, the wine itself bats well above its grade. The blend changes slightly year on year but this is about 50% Shiraz and Grenache, blended from small vineyards throughout the Southern Rhone. There is a lot to like about this wine from first sip. Its playful and fun, there is lovely generosity on the nose which flows through to the palate without it being blousy. Red and black fruits aplenty with nice spiced notes providing focus. Everything is where it should be. Great value drinking.
